Libya’s parliament fails to carry out vote on constitution referendum law
The House of Representatives (HoR) in Tobruk, eastern Libya, has failed to vote on a constitution referendum law.
The HoR held a 95-member session on Monday and discussed the articles of the proposed referendum law.
Faced with many obstacles and heated discussions inside the session, the HoR speaker Aqiulah Saleh, suspended the voting till Tuesday.
Before the stat of the session, many members were not allowed to enter the parliament building in Tobruk as protesters blocked the entrance in rejection of the referendum law on the constitution.
