Car bomb attacks rock Libya’s Tripoli, no casualties reported

Two simultaneous car bomb attacks took place Thursday morning, exactly around 9:00 am, in Tripoli.
Sources said the first car bomb exploded near Foreign Ministry building in Zawiyat Al-Dahmany, Tripoli, while the second blasted under the bridge that overlooks Abu Sitta Navl Base, where the UN-brokered Government of National Accord is headquartered.
Sources added that no casualties were reported from either of the attacks and only material damage.
Investigations for the reason behind the bomb attacks and the perpetrators are underway, said official sources at the GNA.
