General Electricity Company employees urge Presidential Council to pay them their salaries
The General Electricity Company employees went on a sit-in on Sunday to demand their salaries, which have not been paid for them since last March, saying they will go on a strike if their salaries were not paid immediately.
The employees called on the Presidential Council of the UN-brokered Government of National Accord to order the payment of their salaries as quick as possible.
The General Electricity Company employees have been suffering from negligence and lack of payment for months and every now and then they organise a set-in to urge the Presidential Council to solve their problem.
