Libyan eastern forces inches away from conquering Tripoli, spokesman says

The spokesman of the eastern forces of Operation Dignity led by Khalifa Haftar, Ahmed Al-Mismari, said in a press conference Wednesday that their forces are ready to enter western region and “liberate”it from the militias, as he described.

Al-Mismari explained that for them Tripoli and other western region cities are now military zones and the battle is closing in on them.

“Tripoli is waiting for our forces and the conclusive battle.” He alleged.

This is not the first time Al-Mismari or Haftar threaten to wage a war on Tripoli and western region cities, however; this time comes as their affiliates in Sabratha have seized control of the coastal city vowing to help Haftar all the way through the western region.
