The member of the High Council of State (HCS) Abdelrahman Al-Shater has called on the Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sirraj to change his political views and to ask his government members to select a replacement for him.

Al-Shater said on Twitter that the decision to “defeat the murderer of Libya (Khalifa Haftar) is in the hands of Al-Sirraj.”

“Five months have passed and Al-Sirraj hasn’t named the ones killing his fellow citizens, destroying the cities and trying to overthrow him.” Al-Shater added.

He indicated that Al-Sirraj has two choices: either to change his political policies or ask his cabinet to replace him, adding that war needs bold decisions and that Al-Sirraj will be held accountable for his inaction.
