National Salvation Government: Airspace shutdown was due to technical reasons
The Tripoli-based National Salvation Government refuted the news that spread on social media and media outlets about closing the airspace for all flights to and from Libya.
In a statement Sunday, the NSG said the main reason behind the closure was related to technical problems, clarifying that the government is doing its best to resolve the crisis and provide citizens with all the good services.
Worth mentioning that the aviation traffic at Mitiga and Misrata airports was stopped Sunday morning to afternoon for safety reasons as the Civil Aviation Authority said.
