Retaliation: Pictures claiming to be of the air strikes in Libya by Egyptian forces emerged

The Presidential Council of the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) has condemned the Egyptian airstrikes on Derna, eastern Libya.

The Presidential Council denounced Egypt’s violation of Libya’s sovereignty by striking a Libyan city without prior coordination with the only legitimate authority in the country – the GNA and Presidential Council.

Egyptian warplanes raided Friday Derna city on what it said locations for Derna Shura Council.
