Sabratha free of IS militants, NSG Defense Ministry announced

The Defense Ministry spokesperson announced Friday that the Sabratha Military Council along with the city’s locals backed up by neighbouring districts’ fighters freed the city from the lurking IS militants killing many and wounding a lot more, while some fled away.
The spokesperson added that all of the IS militants whom Sabratha locals were fighting were Tunisians hiding in the city and training for terrorist purposes. “We call on Tunisia to protect its borders with Libya and counter the influx of its nationals who infliterate into Libya to join the IS terrorist groups. He stressed.
Earlier last week, clashes erupted between Sabratha Military Council and IS militants as the former waged a ferocious war on the terrorists’ spots in the city following the US strike on one of their recruits’ camps.
