The Libyan Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced that SEADANCER oil tanker entered Monday the port of Marsa al Hariga in eastern Libya in order to ship 1 million oil barrels from Libya to the US.

The spokesman of AGOCO, Omran Al-Zway, said in a press statement that the Bahamas-flagged vessel will take one full day in order to finish the process of loading the oil on its board.

Earlier, Al-Zway stated that AGOCO had raised its oil production to 261,000 barrels per day (bpd), saying that they hit a new level of boost that is actually 50,000 bpd higher than its output last week.

“The new output boost comes as the workers in the AGOCO put out a lot of doubled efforts coupled with reopening some fields that have been out of use for more than a year.” Al-Zway added.
