The Federal Bloc welcomes the prospect of elections

The National Federal Bloc welcomed holding presidential or legislative elections in Libya if there are “guarantees of integrity, transparency and a safe environment for voters.”
The bloc, in a statement, on Tuesday, called for its supporters to “rush into registration in the voter register.”
“We will hold the MPs, especially the federalists, responsibility in the event of any electoral or referendum law that restores historical grievances,” according to the statement.
Benghazi witnessed the destruction of polling stations by protesters, after the announcement of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) to start the registration of voters; in preparation for elections to be held next year.
