Tripoli brigades have issued a statement calling on Libyans to unify and remain opposed to the UN-backed accord government, saying that such a government was not agreed upon by all Libyans.

The brigades said, in a televised statement Saturday night, that any government can work in the capital on the condition it would fulfill certain demands.

“We demand a full commitment to the Islamic Sharia laws and those modeled on Sharia in the GNC. We also request a vivid description about “General Khalifa Hafter” and his Dignity Operation (Karama), which is no more than a coup against revolution.” The brigades indicated.

They demanded a clear definition of terrorism and whether it includes Derna and Benghazi Shura councils Abd revolutionary fighters as well as the Libyan Fatwa House and the Grand Mufti, Sheikh Al-Sadeq Al-Gharyani.

Last week, Tripoli revolutionary brigades issued a similar statement warning the GNA of coming to Tripoli without receiving approval by all Libyans.
