The UN delegate to Libya: Martin Kobler, refuted that there is one united army in Libya, pointing out that the army led by Khalifa Haftar does not represent all Libyans.

In an interview on the phone with Radio Sawa Saturday, Kobler called on all Libyans to find a fruitful way to form a unified army that would include forces from the west and east.

He reiterated his support to the 100-member of HoR who issued a statement endorsing the GNA, saying the HoR has only 10 days to carry out a unanimous vote on the GNA.

He added that there’s a big difference between military intervention and military assistance, saying if the GNA asked for the latter, then it would never be considered an intervention.
