Libya is denied the right to vote in UN General Assembly
The United Nations General Assembly has denied Libya the right to vote in its sessions due to nonpayment of the UNGA fees of registration as a member country for the last two years.
According to article 8 from the UN Charter, any member country that delays paying the financial dues for the UNGA for two years time will be denied the right to vote in the meetings of the UNGA, The GNA posted on Facebook on Monday.
The fees that Libya had obstained from paying over the last to years are worth about $2 million.
