The US envoy to Libya, Jonathan Winer said the reopening of oil fields can absolutely add about 440,000 barrels per day, which could maintain Libya’s sufficiency of foods and medicines’ imports.
On Twitter Friday, Winer said he hopes that the meetings between the Audit of Bureau officials and the mayors of southern Libyan districts and cities would bring about feasible steps that can help restore output of electricity ending the crisis of load shedding.
Meanwhile, Libya is going through drastic conditions and crises of cash shortages, electricity outage and also acute shortages of medicines and foods with a record high exchange rate for the dollar against the dinar reaching last week 5 dinars for 1 dollar.
