Turkey’s Coast Guard busts Bolivian drug-smuggling ship off Libyan coasts

Turkish security forces have intercepted a ship carrying a Bolivian flag with about 13 tons of drugs in the international waters off the Libyan coasts.
Sources from the Turkish Ministry of Interior reported Anadolu News Agency as saying that special squads from the Turkish Coast Guard were supported by air forces as they carried out the interception operation against the Bolivian ship in the international waters to the northeast of Tobruk port after getting approval from the Bolivian authorities.
“There were 13 tons of drugs on board of the ship, but the squads are still scouring every nook of the ship until all of it is clean.” Added the source.
