IS attacks on Iraqi police in Samarra kills over 7
Gunmen wearing suicide vests attacked two police stations in the central Iraqi city of Samarra on Monday, killing at least seven policemen, security sources said, according to Reuters.
The sources said clashes were ongoing at both police stations, Reuters added.
Iraqi security forces have imposed a curfew in Samarra, 125 kilometers north of Baghdad, following the armed attacks on two police stations on Monday.
