Anti-Corruption Commission delivers annual report to the House of Representatives

Head of Libya's National Anti-Corruption Commission met with the speaker of the Libyan Parliament to deliver the commission's annual report and discuss ongoing efforts

The annual report and the Crisis Committee’s 2020/2019 report were delivered to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, by Naaman Elsheikh, Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).

This occurred during a meeting in Green Mountain, which was attended by members of the House of Representatives.

During the meeting, the Commission’s Head outlined his efforts to bring together and consolidate all branches, offices, and personnel and regularize their status.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, for his part, praised the Commission’s actions, particularly the meeting of the Commission’s President with all branches and offices and the implementation of the recommendations outlined in the meeting’s minutes.

The speaker thanked the Chair and the Commission’s staff and urged them to devote more time to implementing and exercising the Commission’s work.
