Libya eyes mining in Nigeria as key money maker
The Minister of Oil and Gas of the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Aoun, has discussed with the Nigerian Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Olamilekan Adegbite, mining cooperation as Libya is rich in minerals such as iron, cement and glass.
This came during a meeting, which was held on the sidelines of Aoun’s participation in the Nigeria-Africa Summit for Natural Resources and Energy Investment.
Earlier, Aoun discussed with the Nigerian Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, the importance of investing in energy at the level of Africa, and the possibility of shifting towards clean energy, in addition to developing joint plans for oil and gas transmission networks in the African continent.
