Al-Arfi accuses Audit Bureau of corruption

The Audit Bureau was given the authority to monitor contracts since 2012, according to Abdel Moneim Al-Arfi, a member of the House of Representatives, saying it opens the door to corruption.
As he said in his televised remarks, the House of Representatives monitored irregular contracts at the Audit Bureau, which didn’t reflect their credibility. As far as the documentary cycle and conditions and legality of public and private contracts go, monitoring contracts is an inherent competence of the Administrative Control Authority.
Al-Arfi says these laws are manmade, and times are changing, so we have to keep up, and make decisions about censorship.
