SSA: Five people arrested, 15000 Dinar of Subutex recovered
During its investigation and evidence gathering process, Libya’s Stability Support Apparatus (SSA) successfully arrested a gang selling hallucinogenic pills.
As reported by Libyan Express correspondent, five Libyans living in Tripoli were caught with 13 Subutex tablets worth more than 15,000 Libyan dinars.
The active ingredient in Subutex tablets is buprenorphine hydrochloride. As a substitute for opioids such as heroin, it may lead to addiction when used without medical supervision.
According to SSA’s press release, the suspects were referred to the Public Prosecution for prosecution after legal measures had been taken.
