Turkey-Libya security cooperation intensifies

Turkey and Libya have engaged in joint naval exercises off the Libyan coast, involving a Turkish frigate and Libyan vessels.
This activity is part of Turkey’s ongoing naval operations in the region. Earlier this year, the same Turkish frigate conducted weapons training near Libya.
In addition to naval cooperation, Turkey and Libya are increasing collaboration in various security areas. The two countries recently signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in security training.
Reports also indicate that Turkey has upgraded the Al-Watiya Airbase in Libya with a modern air defense system, replacing an older system.
These developments illustrate the growing military and security relationship between Turkey and Libya
