Bolstering national capabilities within private sector

Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah attended a series of economic discussions at the Libyan-Italian Economic Forum on Tuesday evening.
He joined Italian and Libyan business leaders to discuss key sectors including energy, mining, infrastructure development, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, fishing and agriculture.
Mr Dbeibah emphasised the importance of private sector collaboration in strengthening relations between the two countries. He said the forum had facilitated important discussions that would bolster Libyan-Italian ties.
The Prime Minister also took part in a workshop on technical education and training. He highlighted the valuable contribution that Italian universities and technical colleges could make to upskilling the Libyan workforce. He called for advanced training programmes and joint scientific research initiatives to be implemented.
