Health official reports low turnout for flu vaccine campaign

Libya’s seasonal influenza vaccination campaign continues to see modest participation, according to the National Center for Disease Control’s Vaccination Department Director Salem Shenisheh.
In a public health briefing on Monday, Shenisheh reported that approximately 140,000 people nationwide have received the vaccine since the campaign’s launch earlier this month.
While describing current turnout as “weak,” he noted slight improvement compared to last year’s figures.
The director urged targeted populations to get vaccinated before the campaign ends this month.
