Janzour celebrates community reconciliation

The municipality of Janzour held a public luncheon Sunday marking a recent reconciliation agreement that has enabled the return of previously displaced residents.
According to local sources, the initiative followed mediation efforts involving representatives from the neighboring cities of Zawiya and Zuwara, with support from the Deterrence Apparatus for Combating Crime and Terrorism.
The agreement has reportedly facilitated the return of several residents who had left the area due to political and security disputes following 2011.
Community members expressed hope that the reconciliation process could provide a framework for similar initiatives across Libya.
