Ubari receives cash package after a year of shortage
Ubari’s Mayor, Ahmed Murtadah, has confirmed earlier on Monday said that the city of Ubari has regained its long-lost stability despite the continuation of electricity stoppages, which he said continue up to four hours a day.
Ubari Municipal Council had received earlier today a cash package from Tripoli-based Central Bank and thus reopened its commercial bank after closure for more than a year.
In a press statement, Murtadah added that the Electricity and Gas Company is now waiting for the airport to reopen in order for its technical staff to return to work, asking the transportation company and the Civil Aviation Authority to speed up the reopening procedure to meet the city needs.
