The US military command in Africa (AFRICOM) has carried out two separate airstrikes on November 17 and 19 near the town of Fugaha in the municipality of Jufra, south of central Libya targeting ISIS militants.

In a statement, the AFRICOM said the airstrikes were conducted ” in coordination with the Government of National Accord”.

AFRICOM concluded with the United States commitment to help the Libyan people to rebuild their country by destroying terror networks and preventing them from creating a safe haven in Libya.
