Afriqiyah Airways on three-day strike, Libyan Airlines excluded
Afriqiyah Airways has gone on a partial strike for three days starting Sunday from 6am to 2pm, an official in the airliner company disclosed.
The official, who asked to remain anonymous, said that in the Friday meeting of the company, we did not reach a solution that ends the need for the Sunday strike although the Afiriqiyah Airways General Manager was present along with all those related to the issue.
On the other hand, the media office director in Libyans Airlines, Saad Bukhatwa, said his company will conduct its flights normally and will not take part in the strike.
The calls for strike have been announced earlier this year by the aviation syndicates and Labourers National Union staff demanding the payment of their seven-month delayed salaries.
