Ain Zara municipality members kidnapped amid obscure reasons

The member of Ain Zara municipality, Mohammed Merghani, along with his colleague Bashir Al-Fitouri, were reportedly abducted by an unknown armed group Wednesday.
The two municipal colleague were kidnapped while they were departing the municipality’s buildings in Tripoli, yet the reasons behind the abduction are still unknown.
Many reports say that reasons of the kidnap might have stemmed from internal power struggle, whereas other reports speak of illegal activities and allegations of corruption against the two abducted men.
