Al-Bayda Court of Appeals dismisses Ali Al-Tarhuni over dual citizenship
Al-Bayda Court of Appeals decided Monday to dismiss Ali Al-Tarhuni from his position as the Head of the Constitution Drafting Assembly.
The decision of the court also rules Al-Tarhuni out of the Assembly’s membership and obliges him to stop work in the Assembly.
This comes due to voices saying that his membership is invalid as he possesses a dual citizenship, American and Libya ones.
