Al-Gotrani warns of division if the Presidential Council remains obstinate
The Presidential Council Deputy President, Ali Al-Gotrani, has warned of plunging Libya into division if the PC does not back off from its current policies.
Al-Gotrani accused, in a letter, Fayez Al-Seraj, the PC President, on Wednesday of carelessness about striking Concord and unity in Libya and of being biased to one certain party.
“Al-Serraj cared about receiving endorsement for the GNA and make that case international interest and then negotiated with Tripoli-based brigades to back the GNA up.” Al-Gotrani said.
He also conditioned his return to the PC membership with revising the PC President’s policies and with receiving endorsement for the GNA Directly from Tobruk Parliament and not from MPs’ signatures.
