Al-Makhzoum calls for implementing Skhirat agreement as a whole

The General National Congress former head of dialogue team, Saleh Al-Makhzoum called for an emergency meeting to be held to enable all parties to reach agreed upon measures that can guarantee proper implementation of the Skhirat agreement and end the violations.

Saleh Al-Makhzoum, who initiated Skhirat agreement on behalf of the GNC, described the HoR’s attempt to delete article (8) from the additional provisions as a gross violation of the political agreement and also an attack on the concord reached by political parties.

In a statement Tuesday, Al-Makhzoum said that the statements of the Presidential Council’s Prime Minister, Fayez Al-Serraj, and other suspending members have proved that they are not committed to the authorities given by their posts according to the agreement, which endangers the success of the political process.
