Al-Saiti meets with Saif Gaddafi

“Fathallah Al-Saiti,” head of the Political Communication Committee in the House of Representatives, met with Saif Gaddafi to discuss recent political developments and support holding elections within a short period.

At the meeting, he stressed the importance of uniting national political efforts and holding elections without exclusion or marginalisation, which is essential to provide the Libyan street with the opportunity to decide without being directed or restricted, as well as to create legislation that is acceptable to all parties.

Al-Saiti initiated the meeting in an effort to end the current political impasse.
