Analyst: Central Bank of Libya would have to lower the exchange rate
Mokhtar Al-Jadid, Professor of Economics at Misurata University, emphasised the need to exert pressure on the Central Bank of Libya, led by Saddek Elkaber to bring the exchange rate back to where it was prior to 2021.
Al-Jadeed stated through his “Facebook” account: “ We need to press the Central Bank to bring the exchange rate back to where it was, at least in early 2021”.
The professor of economics at Misurata University added: “These people sleep in honey and do not live among people.”
