Bulgarian coastguard authorities have forced the Libyan crew members onboard Badr tanker off it and replaced them with Bulgarian crew, the Libyan National Sea Transport Company and Ports Authority said in a statement on Saturday.

The statement says the Bulgarian act is a flagrant violation of international laws and norms.

The Libyan tanker “Badr” has been seized in Bulgaria for a lawsuit against Libya, but a Bulgarian court has delivered a verdict allowing the vessel to sail to Libya.

Yet, Bulgarain authorities disregarded the verdict and seized the vessel, using force to evacuate the crew.
