A car bomb went off on Monday in the parking lot of the Benghazi Al-Jalaa Hospital, killing two and injuring over 17 people, medical official from the hospital told the press.

The official added that the death toll is likely to rise as many of the injuries are considered very serious.

Benghazi has been plunged into war between Khalifa Haftar’s Operation Dignity and Benghazi Shura Council fighters since May 2014, when Haftar declared war on terror as he called it.
