Clashes between Wershifana and Al-Zawiya gunmen
Clashes broke out in Al-Zawiya districts upon an attack by Wershifana armed groups in a what was described as a feud fight.
The Wershifana armed groups attacked Al-Zawiya to retaliate for the death of one of their fighters who was earlier killed in Al-Zawiya in what the rumors say “a cafe fight for a girl.”, according to eyewitnesses.
The clashes left more than 4 killed and others injured and are still ongoing until now amid efforts by the two cities’ locals to bring the fight to an end.
