Coastal road linking Azzawiya and Tripoli reopens

After being closed for hours, the coastal road that links Tripoli with Azzawiya was reopened in the area that extends from Al-Sumood checkpoint to Bridge 17 in Janzour district, eyewitnesses reported.
The eyewitnesses added that the road is safe and secured and the movement of cars is very normal up until the checkpoint of the border city of Ras Ajdair.
On Tuesday, an armed group from Wershefana district closed the newly reopened coastal road from the Bridge 17 area in Janzour and the Al-Sumood checkpoint at the eastern entry to the city of Azzawiya.
