Corona Crisis Management working with MSO to address high infection and mortality rates

Heads of Medical Supply Organization and the Covid-19 Crisis Management Room met to discuss ways of reinforcing the fight against the virus and protecting the public

Brigadier General Yusuf Belban, the director of the Crisis Management Room to fight Covid-19, met with Dr. Mohamed Al – Khauli, the head of the Medical Supply Organization (MSO) on Friday to explore methods to stop the spread of the virus in Libya.

According to the Ministry’s Information Office, the meeting addressed methods for the Crisis Room and MSO to collaborate and coordinate to fight the spread of the Coronavirus, particularly in light of the recent increase in fatalities.

The two parties addressed methods to provide the preventative equipment needed to halt the spread of the epidemic, as well as procedures for enforcing the curfew and following up on precautionary measures established in collaboration with appropriate authorities to protect people’ health and safety.
