Dabeiba instructs 5 Ministries to absorb militias into state institutions
As a part of the Government of National Unity's primary objectives of unifying the country's military, PM Dabeiba has instructed 5 ministries to absorb militias into their institutions
Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dabeiba directed the Ministries of Economy, Labour, Higher Education, and Youth to hold cross-conference meetings with the Committee for Organizing, Absorbing, and Integrating Militias into State Institutions.
He emphasized the importance of integrating militias into security institutions and involving them in youth development programs.
These instructions came after a meeting between the Head of Government, Abdelhamid Dabeiba, and the Chief of General Staff, Mohamed Al-Haddad, at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Tripoli on Wednesday.
