Dignity Operation forces’ attempt to advance into Derna’s downtown thwarted

Dignity Operation forces have retreated away from the western entrance of Derna city after an attempt on Thursday to raid and penetrate into the downtown of the city.
This attempt was foiled by the Derna Shura Council after heavy clashes with the Khalifa Haftar-led forces, who ventured advancing into the city by braking through the western entrance, where they lay their siege on Derna.
On Tuesday, the warplanes of Dignity Operation led by Khalifa Haftar bombed civilian houses in the neighbourhood of Sayidah Khadija wounding two civilians and destroying the houses.
