Explosion in a refugee reception center in Germany
An explosion has been reported outside a reception centre for refugees in Germany.
A suitcase filled with aerosols was thought to be the source of the blast outside the Bundesamtes für Migration in Zirndorf, Bavaria, on Wednesday afternoon, Bayerischer Rundfunk reported.
No information on injuries was immediately available but no one was believed to be seriously harmed.
Ansbach suicide bomber Mohammed Daleel ‘fought for Isis and al-Qaeda’ before coming toPhotos of the scene showed police officers surrounding the remains of a suitcase on a footpath around 200 metres from the reception centre.
Middle Franconia police could not immediately be contacted for comment.
The incident came just days after a failed Syrian asylum seeker blew himself up in a suicide bombing outside a music festival in the Bavarian town of Ansbach.
