Floating Port (Gaza) arrives in Libya’s Al-Bouri oil field

The Floating Port (Gaza) has arrived this morning in Al-Bouri oil field after coming from Busan, South Korea, from STX company. The new floating port will replace the old one (Sloog) on the oil field’s platform (4).

The floating port is considered one of the biggest ships in the world and has a capacity of over one million and a half oil barrels.

The floating port was towed to Al-Bouri oil field in Libya by the Tow Company POSH TERASEA under the supervision of STX Offshore & Shipbuilding for the Milletah Oil & Gas Company and by the request of Tripoli National Oil Corporation.
