The employees of the General Electricity Company has carried out a sit-in in Tripoli’s Algeria Square, which is located in front of the Tripoli Municipality’s headquarters to protest the delay of their salaries.

The protesters called for payment of their salaries that have been off since last January, threatening with going into an open strike if their demands were not replied to, pointing out that the officials in the company have stolen their rights.
