In an informal meeting, Mangoush meets Turkish Foreign Minister ahead of the Berlin II conference

Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Mangoush met with her Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in preparation for the second Belin conference on the ongoing progress in Libya

Najla Al-Mangoush, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the Government of National Unity met with Mevlüt Cavuşolu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, for an informal breakfast meeting in which they discussed the shared issues of the two parties’ previous trips to see how swiftly they were executed.

Both sides discussed how the two countries are preparing for the second Berlin Conference, which will be held in the coming weeks, and how they can work together to implement the road map for the preparatory phase and establish stability.

During the breakfast, the Minister emphasized that the Libyan perspective would be prominently displayed at the Berlin table.

The Turkish Minister, for his part, reaffirmed his country’s full support for Libya and the efforts of the Government of National Unity to promote stability at all levels.

Before the Conference, the Ministers also decided to continue joint coordination between the two countries. The Turkish Foreign Minister announced that he would visit Libya next week to finish the discussion and cooperation in order to fulfil the goals of Berlin 2.
