The UN delegate to Libya, Martin Kobler, has condemned the abduction of Tobruk parliament member, Muhammad Al-Reaid by gunmen Tuesday and called for his immediate release.

“Al-Reaid should not pay the price for his courageous decision to uphold the national interest, risking his life to rejoin the House of Representatives.” Tweeted Kobler.

Moreover, EUPAM Libya strongly condemned the kidnap, in a statement Thursday, saying that it is an illegitimate act that goes against the International laws
