Libya celebrates 67th anniversary of Independence Day

The Libyan people across the country celebrate on Monday 24/12/2018 the Day of Independence as the 67th anniversary .

Libya gained its Independence in 1951 when King Idris I of Libya announced the news in Benghazi after the UN adopted a resolution of independence of the Libyan state.

Libyans have been given a public holiday to mark the anniversary.
