The Libyan authorities from the Operation Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous handed over Friday 8 children of Sudanese nationality to Sudan’s representative in Libya.

The Sudanese representative will later supervise the process of transporting them to their relatives in Sudan.

The 8 children were saved with the families rescued from the war in Sirte against IS militants.

A similar case awaits cooperation from the Tunisian side as there are many children and women who were part of IS group in Sirte and are now arrested and waiting for Tunisian response to be deported and sent to their relatives.
