Libya wins 1-0 over Zanzibar at Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup

Libya has won over Zanzibar by a solitary goal in the last Group A match on Monday, leaving Kenya’s chance of progressing to the next phase of Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup hanging in the balance.
Libya’s win takes the team to six points and should Kenya draw with Tanzania, they will also be on six points, but will have an edge by virtue of having scored two goals against Libya’s one.
Libya is partaking in the Cecafa matches in preparation for the upcoming CAF event CHAN in January 2018 in Morocco.
