Libyan delegation discuss return of Chinese companies in the “Cooperation” forum in Beijing

The undersecretary of State for political affairs, Lutfi al-Maghrabi, held talks with the head of the Confederation of Chinese Companies operating in Libya “Guo Akyu Xin” about the possibility of Chinese enterprises returning to Libya to resume implementation of previous contracted projects that were put on hold.

Al-Maghrabi , who heads the Libyan delegation in the African Cooperation Forum,Which is being held in Beijing , assured the Chinese party that the Government National Accord are keen on the return of international companies to Libya and will provide them with the facilities required to operate in Libya.

In addition, the undersecretary met with the Chinese deputy minister of commerce, Qian Kim Enq. They discussed Chinese companies future role in Libya, especially in the fields like renewable energies, oil and gas, infrastructure.
