Libyan dinar falters as $1 soars to LYD8 while three Libyan governments dilly-dally

The exchange rates of the US dollar against the Libyan dinar have soared today evening reaching LYD8 per dollar in the black market.
The official exchange rate for the dollar at the Libyan Central Bank is LYD1.44.
This new economic tragedy for the oil-rich country makes even more complex for the political limbo to be resolved any soon, analysts say.
The new height reached by the dollar on Sunday comes amid uncertainties in Libya with all parties abandoning dialogue and resorting to military conflicts in different parts of the country.
According to economists, the continuing increasing of the dollar rates against the Libyan dinar will make living conditions in Libya become even worse, knowing that currently Libyans are suffering from lack of cash at the banks, soaring of prices of foods, medicines, and other basic goods.
